Visiting the Spanish resorts of Pilar and Torre

Author: bellsmith

Holiday resorts in Spain

Costa Blanca is a very popular region in Spain, especially for foreigners; they come here attracted by bright beaches, warm sun, and clear blue waters. The holiday resorts in this region are famous and busy throughout the entire year; two of them, situated at the border with Costa Calida, are very special.

Why are Pilar and Torre so special? Because they are absolutely lovely, always able to impress even the heart of the most insensible tourist with their charm, those tourists who learn to love their locals due to their open hearts. It is probably the warm Mediterranean climate that makes them so friendly and welcoming, the same climate that offers a lot of pleasant and sunny days for visitors from all over the world.

The difference between Pilar Horadada and Torre Horadada is that the latter has a more impressive history; however, they are both very beautiful and attractive, they both have interesting things to offer and amazing places where people can spend wonderful moments.

Visiting Pilar on holiday

The history of Pilar Horadada goes back to the times when the Arabs were all over Spain, imposing their rule. The resort received its name from an ancient watchtower, the same tower that had an important role in defending the settlement from pirate attacks.

You'll find it in Costa Blanca and very close to Costa Calida, so you understand why it enjoys such a wonderful climate all year round. The Mar Menor and the Rio Seco, also known as the area of the Dry River, attract tourists who are in love with nature, as Pilar Horadada is a Spanish resort with breathtaking landscapes that takes good care of nature.

Visiting Torre on holiday

This Spanish resort does not look like a Spanish resort at all; the reason for this is that you'll mainly find British, German and Irish people here. They chose Torre Horadada to be the place that hosts their holiday homes, as they all run from the capricious weather in the north west of Europe.

So, it is the fine weather that attracts tourists in this region of Spain, but don't imagine that you will have nothing to do here. Pillar Horadada, Torre Horadada, Cabo Roig, La Zenia, Punta Prima and Playa Flamenca are all patiently waiting for you with their beauties.
